Training has been an attractive sub-sector of the broader Human Capital Management (HCM) space for investors for some time. Training deal volume and valuations have been high in recent years but still only a fraction of their illustrious cousins in Ed-Tech.
However, in spring 2020 Training companies around the world were faced with an existential threat as in-person training became more or less impossible overnight. Could Training suddenly become Ed-Tech?
