Cavendish Corporate Finance is delighted to have advised on the sale of Allen Lane Consultancy Limited to OUTSOURCING Inc. Ben Kupsch and Doug Ingram, the co-founders of ALC along with Ben Lane and James Allen, will continue to act in an oversight and advisory capacity in ALC post acquisition.

ALC is a boutique consultancy specialising in the provision of managed accounting services, finance improvement expertise and change programme support to central government. The Company has continued to win work organically on the strength of its unique operating model which delivers a superior product to the Big 4 advisory firms, but at a significantly lower price point. OUTSOURCING Inc. is a multinational company with headquarters in Tokyo and operations in China, Singapore, India, Australia, Belgium and the UK and specialises in recruitment, data management, IT and business process outsourcing (BPO) solutions.

OUTSOURCING entered the public services outsourcing business in the UK through the acquisition of JBW Group in April 2016 in a sale process also run by Cavendish. By further leveraging the Company’s presence in the sector, OUTSOURCING is developing a business that is less susceptible to the impact of changes in the economy and operating environment.

The transaction is Cavendish’s 10th of 2016 and its second working with its Japanese partner firm Sigmaxyz. This shows the continuing importance of attracting international acquirers in order to complete transactions in the mid-market.
